this song made me think of what has been said, about the child of myself hating who i am now.
but since im only fifteen i also began to think if i hated my child self or if i would hate my adult self if i met him...i found the answers to be yes: i look back at me as a child and see how care free i was and my once naive nature angers me. this also made me realize that he (the child me) would hate me for my lack of emotion and spirit. lately ive been trying to become a happy person like i used to be but i dont think it's going to happen anytime soon...
i also wondered as to how i would be as an adult. i came to 2 conclusions: 1. i'll end up being happy and successful; basically living the dream... and i despise that with all my being... or 2. i'll stay the way i am; cold, silent, angry. this i also hate....
i dont know why i feel this way towards my past and future selves, all this self loathing, but atleast i know i can face myself in any form....
so thank you for preparing me for my future

You're still young man. You've got alot of changing left. The only thing to think worry about, is if the change is going to be desired. Your life will only become what you make it. You have to decide what you want to be and how you want to live, and then strive for that goal. I unfortunately wasted ALOT of time when I was growing up. If i had started making music when I was younger. Or kept in better shape. Or hadn't blown off those summers .. or blah blah blah . SO many mistakes So many regrets. But you're at the perfect age to decide what you want and take hold of it. You're just about to pop into life. Don't go the same route I did.
